I surf the internet more than I probably should. I can’t help it; I’m addicted to it. In my surfing I often come across truly unique, beautiful, fun, or just funny things that I want to keep track of. I’m Not Allowed On The Couch not only acts as my “repository” for all these interesting things, but is also a great way for me to share them with you.

Q: Where do you find all these things to post?
A: As I mentioned above, I surf the net… a lot. Most of the things that are posted here I’ve simply stumbled across while browsing the interwebs. I also get a fair amount of content from people who have contacted with with links to websites or games that they think I would like and should post here.
Q: If I send you something, will you post it on your site?
A: Most likely. You can use the contact form on this site to send me links to things that you think are “post worthy”. So long as it isn’t blatantly offensive and isn’t a complete waste of time you’ll usually see it posted here within a couple weeks time.
Q: How often do you post to the site?
A: I generally try to post at least 1 item a day, Monday - Friday. I take the weekends off. This can often end up being 2 - 3 posts a day, including Saturday and Sunday, but that is the exception and not the rule.
Q: How did you come up with I’m Not Allowed On The Couch for your domain name?
A: It’s the punch line to my favorite joke of all time:
A sad little dog was telling his troubles to his friend. “I’m depressed. I think negative thoughts. I’m always bored and always tired.”
“Why not go see a psychiatrist?” suggested the friend.
“Well, I would,” said the sad little dog, “except that I’m not allowed on the couch.”
